FAIP Powerwasher November 10, 2008 John B. Pfister (Terre Haute, In USA) My powerwasher came with a broker water line. Called Amazon about the problem and they sent me a new powerwasher that was delivered the very next day. The new unit worked flawlessly. My concrete sidewalks and patio turn black. This 1800PSI unit cleaned my walks and patio slicker than a whistle. When not in use you can store the hose on it's wind up caddy. What a good value this powerwasher is. I would recommend this unit and would buy it again. You can't beat doing business with Amazon.com. Two thumbs up.
Happy so far November 2, 2008 Scott Mcintire This seems like a good power washer for my around the home uses. Works great out of the box and is better designed for ease of use than my last Korcher powerwasher. The psi pressure is what I'm after for porch and sidewalk cleaning. Only time will tell how it holds up, my Korcher made it for 3 years. Scott
Very happy October 30, 2008 Gail P. Snyder (Cape Cod, Mass) The quality of the product looks good. It did a good job on the projects I have used it for so far. I am glad I bought it. As a tribute to Amazon, the first unit was broken when it arrived, but Amazon had a new one delivered to me three or four days later. I really could not have asked for better service. I was very happy they did not wait to get the broken one back before sending me the new one.
Arrived DOA October 24, 2008 James (United States) Product arrived well packaged. Double boxed and everything seemed fine until I tried to use it. Nothing, NADA, it wouldn't run. I used their on-line chat function and they determined the GFI device was defective. They sent out a replacement. Took a week to gt the part to me and required me performing the repair. Had I purchased this locally I'd have returned it. Next I set it up and began to use it. Not a lot of power but enoughg for the jobs I needed to do. Seems like it has less power than an old Black Cat 1300 psi model I was replacing but again it was adequate for the task at hand. Next issue came upon trying to remove the pressure hose when I finished the hob. You need to take off the pressure hose to spool it to the reel for storage. It came off very hard. It actually felt like it was cross-threaded. It certainly went on easily but the tolerances are so poor and metal so thin that it cross-threads upon removal. I lubed the threads with a silicone paste and tried it again. The hose connects easily and I didn't tighten it but finger tight and it again would cross-thread upon removal. Haven't heard back from their tech support on the remedy but I suspect it will need to go back. Another thing to watch out for is the hose spool. If you are not very careful you will catch your fingers in the crank. Poor design. IMHO, this is a model best avoided if you actually want to get any work done. I've now owned the device for a month and it was functional for about 60 minutes. It seems to have less power than advertised and is not well made.
Exactly what I asked for, Ridiculously fast shipping October 19, 2008 Mississippi Muddy River (Ocean Springs, MS United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Neat little pressure washer. It does what I want. It is light weight and the instructions are absolutely clear. Follow the instructions Be careful and take your time screwing the pressure hose on or you will mess up the threads. Put the pressure hose on before you hook up you supply water hose. Simply put...be smarter than the machine and apply some patience...be an adult...if you damage the threads it is because you were not paying attention to detail. DUH applies here. I recieved it 2 days after it shipped; the shipping estimate was 5 days out. It shipped 2 days after my purchase. Shipping was free to boot. Good job Amazon, you guys have never failed me!!!!
