A very well-made product. I've had it for about six months; it has a nice old-fashioned heft to it, and it was cheaper than I could have bought locally. No complaints.
Great lid for brew kettle July 21, 2008

I purchased two of these lids to use on converted kettles that I use on my brewing stand. They work great for that purpose and have a self rimming lip that helps if your hole wasn't cut to exactly 12 inches. They are pretty heavy duty and were strong enough to drill holes for a return manifold.

The cover fits well over a 12" skillet. Being domed and not flat, it can accomodate a larger volume of food and still maintain an adequate seal. Works well, cleans up easily, and was reasonably priced.

I use this lid with several pans, including a 12" cast iron. As simple as it seems it has to be said: This lid will give you the best grilled cheese sandwich you have ever made.
