JACK D. December 9, 2008 jack (Connecticut, USA) Celestial Seasonings Earl Grey is by far the best blend of black tea and above average bergamot oil. I have been a tea drinker for 40 years and use bags and loose brewed, both domestic and imported. I drink 5-10 cups per day and based upon the convenience of bags Celestial E.G. is unequaled and consistent flavor box to box. The only issue I have is the bags are not individualy sealed unless you buy the commercial pack of 25 foil wrapped available only from Celestial directly and expensive. The super markets have always stocked the wrong brands, which is annoying and time consuming. The price is the best you can find on amazon(absolutely) and the monthly shipping option is the best and cheapest option. Twinnings is dishwater compared to Celestial
THE Best Earl Grey! August 11, 2008 Bibliophile & Tea Drinker! (NY) This type of Earl Grey tea is truly delicious, with distinctive flavor! It's also quite difficult to find. I'm thrilled that I can order it in bulk from Amazon, and at such an excellent price. POM, teacher
GREAT! November 13, 2007 Dmitry Khalyavin (Brooklyn, NY United States) We love this stuff and drink it daily. I think there's a small difference between this and the individual packages sold retail, but it's still one of the best teas that's out there as far as I'm concerned.
The Best Earl Grey Available November 11, 2007 Clinton T. Meneely (Burnsville, Mn) Although many stores are embarrassed to admit that Celestisal Seasonings even makes teas with caffine, they make several that are top notch, short of going to Chinatown. This Earl Grey ranks near the best of their offerings - mellow, with just the right amount of bergamot; not overpowering, and with an uplifting flavor. Besides, if it's good enough for John-Luc, it's good enough for me.
Decently strong Earl Grey tea October 21, 2007 Flower Child (Marietta, GA USA) The Celestial Seasonings Earl Grey tea is full bodied & fragrant. I enjoy fairly strong tea, & this will become strong if allowed to steep. However, the fragrance & freshness of the tea would probably be improved if the tea bags were individually wrapped.
